@realfirehazard: I want to know how Q beat U, since almost all* Qs require Us, but Us are used in tons of other, more common words.

@nachobel TOTORO!: That would be awesome. I don't participate, but I'm always eager to see the results of shooting/shopping challenges.

@Ian Logsdon: I love the implied caveat around popularity. It works on so many levels.

@Ian Logsdon: I don't do twitter and therefore I am not familiar with their policies & policy changes, so this may be moot. But what if this account was in place before those rules were?

@hostile-17: {soapbox} That's what happens when we dumb schools down to the point that graduates have no reading comprehension. So instead of expecting people to act in an intelligent manner, we come up with ways to enable their lazy mental skills, ensuring they never have a reason to think and evaluate things for

@minardi: The tweet isn't of any interest at all—-it's just an example of what the guy posts. The story is that one of Twitter's most entertaining tweeters is "in danger."

Catering to the idiots of the world has already done wonders for our educational system after all, why not roll out the change to the internet too!

@jdale: Other than common sense? We all know Steve Jobs doesn't have a sense of humor, come on. ^_^

@Ryan: Yeah, or try walking at night in grassy/tree-y areas. Especially if your wardrobe tends to favor dark colors.

@CaptainJack: I really wish you hadn't used the word spelunking in this context. Like the word wasn't odd enough before, now I'm going to have even worse connotations floating around in my head, just waiting to embarrass me.

@MifuneT: The Snopes rebuttal to that is almost as funny as the original email. 9/10 for the rumor, 8/10 for the response.

@Mooncheez: My understanding of how stomach acid works would seem to support this hypothesis.

@Ryan: You have no idea how glad I am that I moved out of Florida at this second. I mean, I was already plenty grateful to not have to deal with cockroaches/palmetto bugs... but now? Yeah. Let's multiply that by a thousand and call it a day.

@BadPlasmid: Oh, gee, thanks for giving my already overactive imagination just another bit of doom-and-gloom to spin into crazy, crazy hypotheticals. ;)

@Spy: Not only that, but I can attest that most stingy people looking to get something for as close to free as possible probably wouldn't have acquired it at all if they couldn't have pirated it. So you take you 5% and add in probably 80% of the people who wouldn't want the app if they had to pay for it... leaving

@GizmoTron9000: That wasn't even the point he was making... At least, not the entire one.

@Tom_Servo: Similarly, I generally like to pay for things using fiscal responsibility and common sense, which seems to be pretty awesome at avoiding the whole "debts n shit" even with 3 (yes, 3!!!) credit cards. It's amaaaaaazing.
