This is it. Most people think that court decisions like this "ended" racism. Do you really think a generation or two is enough to change such entrenched attitudes? Gotta keep fighting the good fight.

Re: Sandra Bullock, jesus CHRIST how fucking terrifying! I don't think I've ever felt so scared/bad for a person I do not know in real life.

This is complete bullshit. If he didn't rape someone, he should absolutely defend himself. People are raped and it's horrible, but people are also falsely accused and that's also an injustice. These things come down to pure "he said, she said" and that's what makes them so difficult, but an innocent person

That's actually the back side of their faces — you can swap their heads around for reaction shots if you're doing some kinda storyline. Which I think is fun.

Oh yeah, that tool is only available in CS6.

The fact that he gets paid to take these blurry, no-technique, bullshit disposable-camera-looking pictures makes me want to set things on fire. Even if he wasn't a total shit as a person, he should not be employed in anything involving photography.

This just made me laugh so hard that my cat gave me a dirty look and huffed away, because she was snuggling near me and I dared to disturb her. Nicely done.

Imma let you finish, but the original attack cat had the best family 911 call ever. I love the transcription.

These people are pussies.

Welcome to 2014 where nerd rage gets real.

P.S. I don't know Twitter's policy, and in general I believe in free speech, but if anyone knows if there's a way to stop the "#jadapose" thing, we should try.

I am also really curious about what people in offices actually do! This is a conversation I have with my husband all the time—everyone we know is a cook, or teacher, or librarian or something like that. Every time I've asked about what exactly office people do it's like, "I manage projects" or something equally

Oh man, people are complaining now about jobs that let them sit down. As someone in the service industry who has worked 16 hour days, let me just say go fuck yourselves.

I injured my lower back last spring and eventually my office provided me with a standing desk. It's amazing, I find I feel more alert and awake, and I don't feel just "off" from slumping in a chair all day. Anyone who has this as an option at work, I'd highly recommend taking it.

And they're sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it's better than drinking alone.

If it makes you feel better, I like you.

Correction: Life is awesome. Did you know that you can call people who will bring pizza right to you door? Truly, we live in a blessed time
