Thanks. I'm not suffering fortunately, but I don't like living off my savings. My husband works but I like paying my own way. I have a small ebay business but they've made enough changes that it's difficult making a profit without spending 12 hours a day on it.

I sometimes think I should start hiring myself out as a retail consultant. I go into independently owned stores and I'm just appalled at the lack of organization and marketing. And I say that with no degree in it, I just worked for a lot of chain retailers over the years and did the marketing resets for some of them.

It's kind of like giving anti-science people equal time with actual experts... gives them far too much credibility.

And then line a bird cage with it, right?

I'm actually running into the problem where people DO care, because I live near RIT and U of R. Therefore my IT degree from a SUNY tech school means nothing here, because I didn't go to one of those two and no one has heard of it (it's in the boonies). The area is oversaturated with IT grads so the school name

It's probably indicative of some sort of deep rooted issue that my first reaction to this article was a hunger for Papa John's sausage pizza. And I even had pizza for dinner, I'm just hungry.

Hey now, I don't fit any of the other criteria, but I love me some cargo shorts and Tevas. Don't be CargoTevaist.

I don't think I could survive as a vegetarian... I don't hate vegetables, but there are a lot that I don't really *LIKE* - I can't stand most squash, for one thing. Doesn't matter how it's prepared, squash texture is just gross to me. Thankfully, there's always broccoli and green beans. And spinach. And tomatoes.

Because some people just can't accept that they don't know what's best for other people. A friend of mine has parents like that - they constantly tried to get her to eat things that made her feel sick. They also never believed her when she said she was sick or injured (especially if it was something not visible...

The way manure is mishandled in this country blows my mind, and I did literally live on a farm for a while (not a dairy farm, but relatives have one down the road, and there were others in the area). When I was thirteen, I was in my school's ecology club, and we saw a video from India that showed that they take

See, that's fine and I wish more people on both sides felt that way. I'm not going to deny relishing my carnivorous meals but I try not to be an ass to vegetarians (unless they go there first and repeatedly, then all bets are off, but it's been rare in person). Meanwhile I have certain meat eating friends who go out

I have a strong suspicion that they wanted to fire her anyway. Who knows why, could be that they wanted to replace her with someone lacking a larval human and thus easier to control/force to work long hours. Otherwise why withhold info such as paperwork, or give her a pretty clear herculean task like all the work that

I think you mean "Hersheys is absolute trash." - period, the end. This is the same company that lobbied the FDA to change the definition of chocolate so they could cut more corners and make it taste even shittier than it already does.

Stories like this make me very happy that I had mine removed (endometriosis). NOPE.

You never know, maybe someone would be bored enough to read on the can...

In other words, a perfect population of wage slaves.

May I suggest leaving some in corporate bathrooms.

*Throws all the money*

I mentioned up thread that it's actually commonly used in the military, are any/many of them?
