Actually you may be asking to get robbed, at least. I don't often go downtown (I live practically in cornfields but not far from a small city), but when I started going out on Saturdays I realized I probably shouldn't whip out my nice smartphone in the same area where (ten years ago) my car window got smashed and my

Oh man, I should have added both of these to my list. I think there were just too many things to choose from.

I hand washed lettuce out of our garden for an entire summer, and one time somehow missed the little green inchworm that made it onto my friend's hamburger (fortunately he did not eat it). Bugs are tenacious little critters.

Rice cooker, crockpot, toaster oven, potato ricer. Also my Lodge iron skillets and a good stainless steel spatula. Needless to say, I cook a lot.

There's also a weird cognitive dissonance with many men. I've been coming to terms with Lordfortuna's passive aggressive tendencies for a while now, and yet he can watch episodes of Criminal Minds with me, or I can tell him about the #yesallwomen retweets (getting upset in the process), and he seems to get it in

I'm actually more hopeful that mothers of sons like 'this' would find creative ways to strip them of all money, privilege, and good family reputation.

This information makes me feel... stabby.

My cat (who unfortunately loves human food) will jump off the bed upstairs and run all the way downstairs to the kitchen if he hears me open the fridge. It's cute but also annoying since he's not allowed to have most of it and whines incessantly anyway.

I'm from western NY and let me tell you, the 'do buffalo wings come from real buffalos' thing (and variations) got old before I was even twenty. I mentally facepalm and move on now *sigh*

Some of them are small enough I'd assume there was a litter of kittens and they haven't found homes for all of them... Or else maybe it's a farm house?

The ghetto version is vodka and gatorade. Not exactly the best tasting, but so easy to pretend is normal...

I misread your choice as 'Breaking Bad' and was like 'AWESOME'. I'm almost disappointed I was wrong.

A friend of mine has had two kids since the Recession, and he was very annoyed to be billed approximately twice as much for the hospital delivery the second time around, for essentially the same services. So I expect that may also be a factor now.

... How did this dog know what I did last night?

I'ma let Darryl and Beth say it for me:

To: Horrified Vet Tech
From: Me

I'll give you that, but she's pretty scary on House Of Cards.

I am very sympathetic to your experiences... I've spent the last few months dealing with purely psychological fallout from several years of emotional abuse, and sometimes (sick as this sounds) I wish it had been physical instead, because the wake up call would have come much sooner (or so I try to believe). I am lucky

Not only that, but I was required to be tested before going back to school (adult student, 2012), and my skin test was just barely in the 'positive' range. However, upon doing some more research on my own, apparently that could be a false positive. Oddly enough the school didn't seem to care beyond having that one
