I think this misses the Bougie boat, even from the origins of Bourgeois an important aspect of the attitude is people of a particular economic class who attempt to signal they are of a higher economic class. So a bougie versions of your example would be:
“I go on dates to bluebottle because starbucks is so pedestrian”
or
…

Is it just me or does it feel like Dinklage is channeling Alan Rickman’s Marvin the paranoid android performance in some of these readings, maybe its the low tone combined with the digital distortion they put in his voice.... but I can’t shake it
