I agree but I think the whole run works so well as a complete story with themes and ideas carried all the way through.

Have you read his Invincible Iron Man run? I think it's some of the best Iron Man work ever.

I'm really glad there are other people who find AG to be severely lacking. It has such fervent followers, and I just don't get it. I thought Anansi Boys was actually WAY better.
