The difference though is that they really came in to being for making video games and this was their core business for a very long time. Not that you don't have a point, it's just that the other companies you list still do their core business well.

Really? It is just a shameless marketing gimmick for virtual console titles with links all over the place for the eShop. I thought it was a little tacky really.
Haha! Things are always bad with anything when you get “Battlefield Earth” feels...*shiver*
As a child, my wife received a Colecivision for X-Mas. It came packed with the awesome game Donkey Kong.
Now if only Origin wasn't being overloaded so I could download the Titanfall DLC.

I dunno, my wife was a HUGE HoMM 3 fan (and played the expansions)...she couldn't be happier to have the game on her iPad and thinks it works amazingly.
I don't like many comedies, but Bridesmaids was awesomely funny to me. I'm actually optimistic about this reboot.
If it were a new machine, then they would allow you to have a user account on that machine and the old 3DS. It is the same machine with slightly beefed up specs, runs the same software, has the same OS...I can't see how you can consider this a "new" piece of hardware in that it is somehow unique and separate from the…
They could have squeezed in a standard SD reader looking at the internal and the chassis size.
No, no drugs. I didn't say it was the best game for the Atari (that would be Yars Revenge) but it certainly isn't a terrible game for the platform. I enjoyed it when it was released and played it a couple years ago with my son when we dug out the Atari. It is hardly the worst game ever.
HA! I never noticed that! Now I'll never be able to unhear it.
When you play with other people, they see you.
I couldn't agree less. It would be different if we were looking at a whole new piece of hardware, but they are expecting people to upgrade for incremental benefits to the same platform. Making users buy different storage for the same device is just short sighted and mean. It would have certainly lessened the…
HA! I so read it that way too!
I bought a 16GB Vita card at Target (Canada) last weekend for $17! I dunno if they are still on for that price, but they were marked for clearance.
Ha! I hear you. I've repaired my set so many times. Thankfully I haven't had to solder (I've never soldered in my life), but I've repaired and shored up the skins on the head so many times.
New drums please Madcatz. I sick of repairing mine.
Moved on to where? We still play Rock Band in our house and enjoy it immensely.
I'll agree the SNES version of the Lion King was the better, but no way you'll convince me that Genesis Aladdin was not only the greatest version, but one of the best games on the Genesis period.
