A Saab and an NSX is pretty close to what’d I’d say. A rare instance where the supercar is more reliable than the daily driver.

This story is the definition of “so what?”
G/O Media Inc’s websites have really been struggling with generating content since Trump got kicked out of office.
There’s really not much of anything here. The headline and the beginning of the story made it sound like Erin from The Office was burning crosses and shit. Nope, she attended some corny debutante ball thing that has a racist past. Most of the US has a racist past.
Am I missing something? I see no connection other than the origins of the festival or party or whatever that would tie her to KKK leanings. If dumbass Black people wanted to join that bullshit, that’s of course their choice but I don’t see where she was personally connected to the KKK or even racism. I also think it’s…
“My first thought! This really should have been Xzibited in the article.”
Yeah I hardly read the reviews here anymore, because most of the time the author hasn’t driven anything comparable. When your frame of reference is a Honda Fit, how much can we really glean from your review of a Jaguar sedan?
What has happened to car reviews on Jalopnik? It’s rare I click on them any more, but I’m genuinely considering an XF for my next car so gave this one a read.
You’re getting worked up over what is a very common exaggeration in a sporting event. Players shit talk all the time. Coaches not all the time, but they do say dumb shit. Players and coaches get in each others faces every single year.
It depends. We have a vehicle we use for all the longer trips we take. We put 17k a year on it. It gets 18 mpg.
Yeah. Replacing our old car with a similarly-sized hybrid is saving us $1,000 per year just in fuel. Even after figuring in the extra cost of the hybrid over a similarly equipped ICE, the break-even point for us is somewhere around 5 years, depending on the price of fuel. The car sees a long daily commute and we plan…
I know right. This is mind boggling how it’s a story or how she is upset. Nobody was body shaming her it was an illustration of size difference. It’s sports where size and speed is everything. To act as if talking weight in sports(exaggerated or not) is disrespectful is beyond me.
No, I tend to agree with the OP you are responding to. Shit gets said in the heat of the moment. That isn’t even close to the stuff that is said of the male players. Who cares if he exaggerated her weight. Imagine if Shaquille O’neal took to a press conference every time someone exaggerated his weight.

Just from reading the article, it doesn’t come across as body shaming (it doesn’t seem like the coach was being critical of Cambage’s build), it cam across as yes, some hyperbole in trying to get a call made for his player.
The fact that a bit of hyperbole, said to a ref while trying to illustrate the size difference between two players, has been made into a scandal gives another reason for people to think the WNBA is a joke.
I’m very conflicted on Lucid. I love the idea of 400+mi of range in a high-performance non-tesla sedan, and the car is beautiful. However, they sold a majority share to the Saudi Government, and quite frankly I do not wish to give money to people who kill opposition journalists and oppress women, not to mention their…
Sooooo do you think this article is going to help matters or drive people away?
