The personal daily driver: The final Saab 9-5 NG Aero SportCombi. I already drive the sedan version and couldn’t be more in love if I tried!

Touché.

kind of annoying and gross. I don’t need to read about dildos when I’m at work.”

In case you’re not joking, I’m talking about these.

Yeah no I mean these:

Username checks out!

Why is every main page now riddled with sex toy ads/articles? (Jalopnik, io9...)

Good to know, appreciate the feedback! I’ve had a ‘96 900, ‘99 9-5 sedan and now a 2010 NG, but I’ve always had a huge crush on all the 9-5 wagons, they’re just so sleek and practical. I plan on driving Saab for as long as it’s realistically possible.

9-5 Aero wagon is the correct answer! Super hard to find though... The good news is the non aero ones can be easily tuned to the same spec as the Aero, or even better!

What’s more, there’s some lore that the Saturn brand was actually named after the rocket family, not the planet. But since GM already had a rocket logo with Oldsmobile, the designers went with the planet for Saturn’s logo.”

I was looking at a blue Turbo6 XWD the other day with about 77k miles. I am not in the position to be buying any car for a while, but an NG 9-5 is, and always has been, a pipe dream! Your insights are superb — thank you so much for sharing”

Some tips I can give you for an NG 9-5, after years of research and 2 years of ownership: the base diesel (Tid4) is the “simplest” engine, meaning easiest for maintenance. It can be tuned to the more powerful TTiD spec very easily, about 190hp. Not a rocket sled at launch, but more than enough for overtaking and

Yeah I get totally giddy when I get these two together, almost no one understands why because the 9-4X is just a standard SUV to them, but people that know... When I just had the 9-5NG we switched cars for a week, and I got multiple thumbs up and baffled faces from other drivers while driving his 9-4X Aero. They are

However, the Saab community is absolutely second to none. Some of my best friends are people I met via the Saab Club and Saab mailing lists. Totally different vibe to the BMW community, and a much, much better one. The Volvo community is great too - but nowhere near as much fun.”

I fell in love with Saab when I was little, my uncle had a 2002 9-5 (yeah, my Saab love started post GM takeover, sorry!), and when I was in the back seat, he would ask if I was ready for the speed booster (aka the sport button on the shifter). He hit it, floored it, and each time it felt like we jumped into warp

Thanks!! Very much appreciated. I've literally been reading Jalopnik since 2008 or 2009, so yeah. Until now I was only out of the greys on io9. Cheers!

Saab. Explaining why would take too long, and I’m in the greys on Jalopnik, so no one will see this anyway. But yeah, poor, amazing, wonderful Saab.

I’m in the grays on Jalopnik so I doubt you’ll ever read this, but on the off chance you will, if you’ll allow me to give some feedback on your writing:

I actively and strongly detest Trump, and think the GOP is behaving very shamefully, but I also actively dislike crazy people on the left - just putting that out there to give you an idea of my political inclination.

Can't believe no one else mentioned the BMW CS! Maybe there's a parallel universe out there where modern BMW's look like that instead of buck toothed monsters...
