Tyler Hoechlin just doesn’t pull off the Superman look in my opinion. It’s not his fault, it’s just that he doesn’t look like Superman, he looks like a handsome guy going to a Halloween party dressed as Superman. It's something about his face, I guess the rather sharp nose and the kind of always there 5 o'clock shadow.

It's all hardcore trash. It's incredibly sad, really.

If I made as many stupid mistakes at my job as some of the io9 (and sister blogs) writers, I would be fired. I'm dead serious, one gets a few warnings, but then that's it. Christ.

“from one of the most anticipated superhero films of the decade””

Yep this is pretty embarrassing.

Right?! In my headcanon the sequels plain do not exist anymore though. Star Wars is the original trilogy, the prequels, The Clone Wars, Rebels, Rogue One and now The Mandalorian. Excited for Ahsoka and some of the other shows!!

Kylo Ren and the sequels will be quietly ignored and ultimately retconned. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

I was looking at a blue Turbo6 XWD the other day with about 77k miles. I am not in the position to be buying any car for a while, but an NG 9-5 is, and always has been, a pipe dream! Your insights are superb — thank you so much for sharing”

Some tips I can give you for an NG 9-5, after years of research and 2 years of ownership: the base diesel (Tid4) is the “simplest” engine, meaning easiest for maintenance. It can be tuned to the more powerful TTiD spec very easily, about 190hp. Not a rocket sled at launch, but more than enough for overtaking and

Yeah I get totally giddy when I get these two together, almost no one understands why because the 9-4X is just a standard SUV to them, but people that know... When I just had the 9-5NG we switched cars for a week, and I got multiple thumbs up and baffled faces from other drivers while driving his 9-4X Aero. They are

However, the Saab community is absolutely second to none. Some of my best friends are people I met via the Saab Club and Saab mailing lists. Totally different vibe to the BMW community, and a much, much better one. The Volvo community is great too - but nowhere near as much fun.”

I fell in love with Saab when I was little, my uncle had a 2002 9-5 (yeah, my Saab love started post GM takeover, sorry!), and when I was in the back seat, he would ask if I was ready for the speed booster (aka the sport button on the shifter). He hit it, floored it, and each time it felt like we jumped into warp

Thanks!! Very much appreciated. I've literally been reading Jalopnik since 2008 or 2009, so yeah. Until now I was only out of the greys on io9. Cheers!

Saab. Explaining why would take too long, and I’m in the greys on Jalopnik, so no one will see this anyway. But yeah, poor, amazing, wonderful Saab.

I’m in the grays on Jalopnik so I doubt you’ll ever read this, but on the off chance you will, if you’ll allow me to give some feedback on your writing:

Except, Star Trek: Discovery realizes, Michael’s the protagonist! It must be she and she alone who takes on the burden of solving the Burn, getting the information she needs, and also maybe bringing one of the founding members of the Federation back into the fold!”

I actively and strongly detest Trump, and think the GOP is behaving very shamefully, but I also actively dislike crazy people on the left - just putting that out there to give you an idea of my political inclination.

You realize she's a bigger monster than Hitler, right? By orders of magnitude.

That's DS9 had great writing, and Discovery doesn't. I guess it really is that simple.
