That's not a car problem, that's a mental health problem.

One can be that condescending about almost any movie, but to answer your question: No, Shape Of Water should not have won, just like Black Panther shouldn’t win. Neither of them is “Best Picture” good.

That got me laughing out loud!

Great, thanks! Good to know. I’ve been close to buying one of these for ages, but my current ‘99 9-5 with 136k miles is still going strong, never had a single mechanical issue since I bought it 5 years ago with 105k miles. From where I’m standing, Saab is crazy reliable, because it’s had, let’s say, “minimum

Telling you that you’re not convincing me isn’t trolling, man, but whatevs.”

I was afraid you’d end up trolling me, but I decided to hell with it, it’s a boring train ride and I’ve got nothing better to do, plus I was hoping against hope we’d end up having an interesting discussion. Ah well.

Like I said, that’s fine. I’m genuinely happy for you. I wish I liked it, it really bums me out how much I hate it, but I do. Boy, do I.

Thank you for that wonderful reply. Nailed it, really.

“Is Doug DeMuro Jay Leno’s illegitimateson? I swear he is related somehow. Theface, the mannerisms, and of course, the love of cars.”

How are the Dame Edna’s to drive? And random question - do they have an aux jack?

I agree with the premise but would still buy this in a heartbeat:

Right?! Even their voice and intonation kind of sounds the same!

Such a breathtakingly beautiful car. But it’s even more expensive than I thought: $87,000. If I had the money lying around, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

There is one available actually. But it’s like $80,000.

What’s it like?! A 9-7x aero is one of my all time dream cars!!

Here here! I love Batman Forever too, and not in an ironic way. It’s a wildly entertaining comic book come to life. It’s a fun romp and I still watch it on occasion. Obviously it’s not a “serious” film, it’s pure popcorn 90's blockbuster stuff, and it never pretends to be anything else.

Some much needed context:

Well said!

So here’s a question: Did anyone else think there would be less of the tribal stuff and more of a focus on how wealthy and advanced Wakanda and its citizens are? Even the parts in the city center looked like they could be filmed in actually existing city somewhere in Africa. Not bad looking, but not awe inspiring
