For a few levels, yeah.

Exactly! I think they would make amazing video game bad guys simply because they’re so horrible. Like the Nazi’s. You just love to hate them - and shoot at them.

Look at me, talking as if I even have time to play video games anymore. :(

I have made it my goal in life to either own a 9-4x or a 2011 9-5 one day.

I’m just sitting here enjoying the casual Saab 9-4x name drop. God I love that car, even though it’s just a rebadged Cadillac SRX. Also - congrats on the museum thing, which probably was the point of this column, now that I think about it. Heh. Pretty cool! Sounds like an awesome list of cars on display.

On a side note: Does anyone think we’ll ever see some Call Of Duty-like games where we’ll fight ISIS? (Or Medal Of Honor, etc.) Or would that be too insensitive and weird, with regards to Islam in general?

I mean, ISIS is such a universally despised and hated entity, you would think that movie and game studios would

I was waiting for him to say “don’t make me come down there” but he didn’t even have to!

Oh god I’m so happy to not be single. I’ve never used Tinder, and never will. That sounds horrible. Truly, deeply horrible. But I chuckled!

I can assure you that I manifestly do not think America does not have freedom of speech.
What gave you that impression?

Let me ask you - do you really think governments in the E.U. are big on cracking down on the freedom of speech of its citizens? Do you really think that the average Western European citizen is

Thanks for the kind words!

I get that there might not be actual laws prohibiting nudity and swearing on tv (we’re talking about basic cable here, obviously, because HBO sometimes feels like it needs to compensate for every other channel out there!), but if, in practice, certain things are consistenly banned, like

I’m not going to get into the specifics of each individual country - not because it’s not interesting, but because it would take us too far. I didn’t mean to imply that freedom of speech is more protected in Europe than it is in America. My general point is that freedom of speech is a very important issue in every

There are a lot of countries that can be qualified as “free” - basically the ones I mentioned, also Japan, South Korea, some countries in South America, etc, all in varying degrees of course. One country will do something one way, the next country will do it another way. It’s all subjective.

I love America, but if you think America is “more free” than the countries in the EU (and there’s a lot of them), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway, etc. you’re falling for the exceptionalist “America > everywhere else” idea. Again, there’s lots to love about America, but it manifestly isn’t the

Glad it wasn’t just me!

Not disagreeing with you, I’m just here to provide you with a list of action movies (some of them are great, others, not amazing, but they’re all entertaining) that are headlined by women, should you ever want to watch one where the woman isn’t the “sexy token”.
I’m sure there’s more, these are off the top of my head.

Yeah, that was... Odd.

That’s a wonderful post!

I mean, just think of someone with a soothing voice reading those lines, while a beautiful tracking shot in semi slow motion shows a car with a family inside glide through a landscape and cruise down a highway...

So now that it’s been established that it is in fact the 2000ish Hyundai Elantra, how will Jalopnik proceed? Contact authorities? I’m honestly curious! I’d appreciate an update, as I’m sure everyone would...

You’re welcome. Can’t believe this actually happened, ugh, so horrible.

What’s up with that flag though?!
