I was scrolling down and I thought I was the only one who thought so, until I saw this post. When I saw the picture from the front I immediately thought of Tesla. That was the first association my mind made.

I can’t believe I never thought about that. I wonder if the glare gets really bad sometimes.
I've got double nationality, American-Belgian, and it doesn't happen every day that I get to brag about anything specifically Belgian! We know our electronic music though.
Actually the beat is by Belgian DJ Lazy Jay.

Ha, thanks for that great link, I in fact was thinking "how does one decide if a car is a wagon or a hatchback?", but I should've known Jalopnik had the answer ready!
Yeah, according to those rules, it's a wagon. But like you said - barely!
That definitely sucks, sorry to hear it. Last question - which model year was it?
I think it's kind of a weird mix of hatchback and wagon. Top Gear did the Africa special where they took estate cars (wagons) across Uganda, and Hammond had a Subaru Impreza Sportwagon. (The 9-2X is basically that Impreza Sportwagon.)

Oh wow that sucks. I have the exact opposite experience, been driving a '99 9-5 sedan for two years and 25,000 miles, haven't had a single mechanical problem, only one electronics glitch that was easily fixed by hooking it up to the diagnostic computer. Did you get yours brand new or second hand?
I agree that there should have been a Volvo on this list, heck, maybe more than one, but the 9-5 is by no means a piece of shit. What makes you say that? Bad experience? The black sludge problem?
I own the sedan version. (albeit the '99 model.) It is indeed a great car to be in.
I just realize I accidentally replied to you instead of Tavarish with that Saab wagon. So now I feel like an idiot! Ah well.
Saab 9-3 estate with 370HP?! That is just all kinds of magnificent.
I know. That said, the mileage is ridiculously low, and it looks like it came straight from the factory. But yeah, with more time, effort and research, one could definitely get an Aero for that money.
Saab 9-5's are so totally my jam. Upgraded from a '96 900 to a '99 9-5 2.3 in 2013, got it at 105,000 miles, now at…
Much like the flying car, this is just something that pops up every couple of months or years. Always with the big claims of super cheap transatlantic flights in the next two to five years. They've been saying that since forever.
Thank you. I'm surprised hardly here mentions that when insulting a guy the word "dick" is never far away. Honestly, how and why should insulting someone be politically correct?
I want that 9-3x so bad... Ah Saab, why did you have to leave us?
Did some quick googling, I was surprised to find out that Italy has two aircraft carriers in service at the moment. I had no idea.
I love this movie so much! The scene you mention starts at 0.51 in the video.
