I grew up not far from Ocala (Leesburg) and spent many weekends at Don Garlits museum. It is definitely a cool place to visit.

Most of the sporting car groups out where I drive still do it. Motorcyclists pat the top of their helmet, cars flash their high beams.
Aren’t semis banned from traveling on it now? Or am I just imagining things?
I’ve lived in Phoenix for 9 years now, commuting anywhere from 10 to 40 miles as I’ve moved around the Valley, and this is by far one of the most baffling things about driving here. Almost every road is a straight line, there are few elevation changes and visibility is excellent for most days of the year, and I still…
I was skeptical of the HOA, but we were up against neighborhoods just like the one we were leaving, neighborhoods that were so expensive to buy in that they functioned a lot like an HOA, or an HOA. We shopped around, read CCRs and spoke with folks who lived in each one and found a place that met my requirements. They…
For real. When you see your property values go in the shitter because your neighbors think running a junkyard is a fun hobby, you start to change your tune. I owned a house in a “do whatever you want” neighborhood and got the hell out. I’m in an HOA now that happens to be completely fine with me wrenching in my…
It’s totally a thing to do on older Japanese cars. Looks super neat, but sucks for driving around in traffic.
There was a crash just a year or two ago under the 101 overpass. While not technically at the Pavs, it was one of the cars that was at the show.
It’s like every piece of this car conflicts with every other piece. With so many forces acting to repel each other, how do they hold the car together?
Admit nothing, deny everything. My Rip It currency may or may not have helped me to acquire certain other valuable items as well.
Rip It, of course.
Thanks! I knew what the class and position colors meant, but could not find anything on the roofline/window lighting that was only on a handful of the cars.
Arizona is great. I do all of the work on my Z in my garage or a friend’s garage, and haven’t had any issues. I just moved into an HOA (carport > garage upgrade, worth it) and they are very understanding of my hobby so long as I don’t leave a mess in the driveway.
I chuckled when I saw these on my way to work yesterday. Luckily it was raining, and Arizona drivers are scared shitless of water on roads, so most folks were driving quite conservatively.
I was hit by a truck while riding home from work a few years ago. I was a few minutes from home and had just transitioned from one freeway to another and moved into the HOV lane. Traffic started slowing, I slowed with it, then the fast lane stopped abruptly and a truck with a horse trailer jumped into the HOV right…
“And I will explain it to the cop when he pulls me over, and gladly pay the ticket he’ll likely still issue if it means doing what I think is best for our safety—because that’s what our society has deemed the crime worth and because it’s the smart thing to do. Because I’m not a saint either.”
Yes. That was one sweet ride in the TIE Fighter game. Shields for days!
Waist strap for a spinal protector and possibly kidney protection. I have a Knox piece that does both. They are fantastic.
Why not? I’ve only owned a GSXR600 that did not have an oil cooler. What is the flaw here?
Go Datsun!
