Wilco has been one of my favorite bands for their entire 20 years. AM, Being There and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot are each perfect in their own way. And I agree with you...I still listen to Being There all the way through from time to time. Lots of favorites, but I always smile when I hear Box Full of Letters.

Just to be clear, I meant a traditional drive shaft connecting to the rear differential. There are drive components going from the motor to the wheels along the axle (or in the case of the AWD, axles).

My recollection is that the car has no drive shaft.

In this case, it is not so much for Tesla, as it is for California to make itself more competitive with the other states which Tesla is considering. Tesla would clearly benefit, but the reason that California is considering this is to even the competitive field so that they can have the opportunity to keep these jobs…

Hasn't anyone read SM Stirling's "Change" series that cover this exact scenario? Electricity, internal combustion, explosives (including gunpowder) all stop working.
