“We’re not crusaders for anything but accuracy.”
I've never heard etymology sound so badass

Yeah but you can't really accuse someone of been like Hitler before he's actually done anything. It can only be done with solid evidence and there is no solid evidence he plans to exterminate anyone. This is going to be a shit 4 years for the US, but I just don't see The man in the high castle becoming a reality under

A huge amount of people are comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, it's actually infuriating. It cheapens what that slimy little bastard did to the world to compare him to a moron who for all his hateful bluster hasn't actually done anything yet.

Do I have anything else to add? Well I might not have if your smugness didn't piss me off so:

I'm reading it for the first time because of this comment

It doesn't even rhyme with any of the previous words, thats my favorite bad Train lyric with the running including most of their discography.

Or rearranging the bodies in hi-larious positions

I read your comment before revealing the spoiler and it somehow made more sense without knowing what actually happens

"Collateral Beauty is one of those cloying movies about learning to take the good with the bad that feels like it was made by aliens with little grasp of human life. (Presumably from the Andromeda galaxy, whence come the dreaded dramedies.) In a performance that rarely requires him to move the muscles of his face.."

When you're comparing somebody to Hitler it's kinda difficult to say "We're only comparing him to 1930's Hitler", it's a packaged deal.

I find it fairly galling and disgusting to compare (sincerely) Trump to Hitler. Like people around here do it and I sometimes feel like we've confused "Populist-Dickhead" with "Holocaust-perpetrator".

I don't feel like making excuses and would like to cut to the chase..

I love that Trumps election has somehow exonerated other people of acting like entitled, privileged assholes. Whiteness has nothing to do with it.

I think I'm more irritated by her attitude concerning it, rather then the offence itself but I can understand why people are angry about it.

Yeah, I don't think finding 20 or 30 people that are shockingly a bit unhappy at their choice really justifies the use of "all these" or makes anyone capable of basking in anything

….I’d like to take it back to awkward silence now

Hey, stupidity is diverse now! You have Sarah Palin, and Ben Carson. We even threw in a brit in the form of Nigel Farage!

I'd argue that this merely makes the system much much easier to abuse. The electoral college causes things like battleground states and the notion of having "battleground" states is totally absurd. It's accidental gerrymandering on top of the gerrymandering already in place. It devalues a huge proportion of citizens

I totally agree with your last point, but to say we have to deal with the reality we live in by voting for someone we still disagree with, that's a very dangerous precedent to set.

Most countrys in the world have at least 5 political parties you can realistically vote for. Its the fault of the American system, not the third party voters themselves that their voices aren't heard due to a stupid biparty system. In Ireland, we tick candidates in order of preference. If one doesnt get elected the
