I think there's a pre-chair Clint Eastwood and post-chair Clint Eastwood

You called me out on stating something I'd heard and assumed. I was looking for people to confirm or deny my opinion. I'm bringing up other people doing it because this is a discussions forum where we have discussions. Where people state whether my opinion is true or not, of which you have done neither.

Does she do so with a stone cold look on her face before making a call on a flip phone to say "It's done." before walking off?

So I openly admit to not having seen a movie but have an opinion on it based on how it carries itself and from what I've heard and decide to state said opinion based on other peoples, to which I've openly admitted. You promptly jump down my throat for it.

Does the movie follow the ole tradition of making your strong female character be a hard military type women in her mid fifties i.e. Transformers?

Just like….. everyone on this site…..ever….

I would beat S.S with a lot of sticks, sexism probably isn't one of them considering that two of the most influential characters in the movies plot seem to be women.*

Or.. maybe that actually happened but he still happens to work abroad. While I can't really speak for having absolutely no Internet, the Internet in 2000, or when I was 7, wasn't exactly great at hosting VoIP calls so it still meant the weekly call and maybe occasional surprise visit.

Oi! Wots all dis den

No I'm sorry, that snark was truly incredible but there is genuinely no way he is been sincere. That post was a work of fucking art, a perfect parody. They will study that in years to come as a perfect satire of everything that's wrong with the over-the-top hatred of this movie.

That's a perfectly valid reading of the song too, I mean that was just my view of what the song was about and yours doesnt make any less sense. It could actually really be about both though, its just he mentions bills to pay in the song and things like that so i always presumed he was working to provide for his family

I never thought I'd be defending Harry fucking Chapin, especially on the AVclub, but this womens opinion is so odious that I feel like I must

Wow, I mean I absolutly loathe this song with a passion but..wow

As much as I would vote to remain if I were living in Britain at the moment I'm kinda surprised by the EU-loving going on here.

Did I ever say what you said in the last paragraph, nope in fact I said we already had a highly liberal constitution before Bunreacht na HEireann that we got rid of. I never once suggested the English should save us from ourselves. Instead I think we should have embraced the secular elements of the rebellion that were
