Now this is a film i'm looking forward to.

You mean like Grey Gardens? or Chronicle of a Summer?

A+, not A-.

Sincerely; Joshua Oppenheimer's films, Harvard Sensory Ethnography Lab's output, Sarah Polley's The Stories We Tell, Patricio Guzman's essay films (Nostalgia for the Light), Freddie Wiseman's recent films, Rithy Pahn's films

'HBO's run of outstanding documentaries' — seriously? What would those be exactly? The insubstantial, unempathetic filmed magazine article Going Clear? Or the unethical ego trip Jinx? Does the Grim Sleeper use shitty reenactments too? HBO is very, very far from being the centre of the best contemporary non-fiction

There's no clock in my hat

Does anyone know if the train that hits/wakes Homer is a reference to the anime adaptation Night on The Galactic Railroad? - Josh Weinstein jokingly mentions Soul Train on the commentary - the scenes are very similar, plus all the thematic overlap: quasi-religious, dream-like 'search for happiness' etc.

Thank you PLACEHOLDER FOR idiotking

No mention in the review of how incredible the sound design is in the episode - the pyramid rising, the tortoise nodding, Homer the kicking the tortoise, rattling pepper…
