This guy was too stupid to switch off and retain the key until he returned to the car?

Scorn on the 4th of July.

This article is incorrect when it says there was only one test of a nuclear missile. At least the AIR-2 Genie was tested in Plumbbob John. Perhaps it’s accurate if you limit it to ballistic missiles.

“Total exoneration, at this latitude, at this time of year, localized entirely within the Mueller report?”

And at least some of those backs would be bleeding due to the wildly inaccurate bullet wounds she inflicted before realising that she really wasn’t the good gal with a gun who was going to save the day.

He’s holding his existing burns clear of any contact.
He’s just doing so *stupidly* close to his burning vehicle...

Seriously, just turn around and walk away.

Other safety tip: only transport propane tanks vertically.

Nah, that’s definitely the test-mule for the 2024 Toyota Rav-4-Ioli.

Sure, but if you were a college-aged stoner who needed to come up with a way to deliver ravioli to your housemate without getting off the couch, this is fucking genius.

My theory is that after the apocalypse, with half of their engineers left, Audi was wondering how they would be able to develop new cars while being understaffed, and their solution was to put their concept cars into production since most of the design is already done.

This causes increased drag on the outside wing, countering the yaw movement, but there’s another important factor - washout. This is where the wing twists

I watched the entire event. He pulled up slightly while approaching NSWC Corona. He then began and right hand rolling maneuver. Once he was upside down the engines sputtered (likely gravity fed) and he lurched the remaining roll out while pulling back (due to his flight attitude, this pointed the nose to the ground).

*scoff* I will have you know that I know Henry Ford!”

One roll of prevention is worth 16 cans of cure?

It’s fascinating to think about how a firefighting robot was used to save an 800 year old church. Just think about everything this church has seen throughout the years, basically all of modern human history. That robot was remotely piloted into that hall where Kings, Queens, and Knights of the middle ages once stood.

I love it when these people try to say something that seems, to a dumb person, that it sounds like something a smart person would say.

Speed isn’t the only factor. You need to lift first, otherwise you will never go 17k MPH at sea level pressures. You also need to blast through that resistance. And most rockets do it via brute force straight up at first, when the load is the heaviest.

In the early 80's when I was about 4 years old, I remember my mother and me getting into our 72 Ford LTD well past dark in the grocery store parking lot. My mother went to put the car in reverse and let out a scream. There was an old lady just sitting in the back seat, not saying a word. My mother saw her when she

64 yr old was British, that was his hard Brexit.
