I love it when these people try to say something that seems, to a dumb person, that it sounds like something a smart person would say.

Speed isn’t the only factor. You need to lift first, otherwise you will never go 17k MPH at sea level pressures. You also need to blast through that resistance. And most rockets do it via brute force straight up at first, when the load is the heaviest.

In the early 80's when I was about 4 years old, I remember my mother and me getting into our 72 Ford LTD well past dark in the grocery store parking lot. My mother went to put the car in reverse and let out a scream. There was an old lady just sitting in the back seat, not saying a word. My mother saw her when she

64 yr old was British, that was his hard Brexit.

Same way I feel about hunting— it’s an activity, not a sport.

If that is not a Douglas Adams quote, it should have been.

You might consider the opinion that no Granada is nice. I have no Granada, and I think that’s nice.

“If you have immunodeficiencies such as HIV, are undergoing chemotherapy treatment, or if you parents were raging f*cking idiotic treehuggers who spent their entire adult lives inside social media echo chambers talking about autism and mind control, please alert the Australian National Health System at once.”

Trump can’t even win an argument with a dead man. Everyone he’s fleeced should feel like idiots.

Don’t worry, it’ll get thrown out on the first day in court because that is clearly a leper.

They just filled the waddling orange goober full of adderall to get him out of the teevee room long enough to clean and fumigate it after another Don Dingus TV & cheeseburger weekend. By Sunday morning the place no doubt reeks of fast food and flatulence, with half-empty soda cans and crumbs all over the floor and the

That’s a rare Rock formation, we may never see such a thing again in our lifetimes...

It’s such a stupid symbol that everyone knows will be ineffective so I really wish Pelosi would call his bluff and actually force him to prioritize this. Give him the funding in exchange for a significant decrease in discretionary military spending, a repeal of the tax breaks for corporations and wealthiest

It’s not about materials, it’s about structures. Stuff’s got to flex and bend in order to accept the loads, and that movement is what contributes to the fatigue.

At some point are you going to cite the $1.4 trillion figure in context as including cost of buying and operating over two thousand F-35s for fifty years? Or are you going to continue to throw that figure around in a vacuum?

Not to mention the F-16, which had probably one of the worst crash records ever in the 80s, but is still having new variants snapped up at prices higher than the F-35A.

This. I work for a company making several components for the F-35s and have been talking to the engineers at Lockheed and Rolls Royce for years. These aircraft are amazing.

Those rascally Democrats glued President Trump’s hands together so he can’t do anything to stop it either!!!!!!!

Ever since the launch, Starman has been moving away from Earth. I happened to check in on “Where is Starman” a week or so ago, and caught the moment when Starman reached maximum distance from Earth. At about 12:30am CST on Feb. 22, the counters switched from going away from Earth to moving towards it. I got this
