He is?

The Punk-O-Ramas, Hopelessly Devoted to You compilations, and ska comps were a huge gateway to bands for me in the late 90s. They were so cheap!

Grey Race isn't bad when you compare it to crap like No Substance and The New America. Jay Bentley even admitted they don't play songs off those albums, because they weren't good. Thankfully, Bad Religion tightened up later in life. True North was a pretty damn good record for a band that is over 30 years old.

That reminds me. No Miguel Ferrer?! I'm out.

Really? That's Fucked Up.

I can imagine them using Gina again, just as another robot. Her features could be programmed like everything else. In essence, they could have 100 Ginas ready to go to war…. in fishnets.

And much funnier than Chozen… a very, very small feat.

Awesome, thanks for the follow up.

I pre-ordered expecting to get the orange vinyl (that's what my receipt says), but gray showed up. It is not a huge deal, but that is part of the reason for pre-ordering an album you have not heard one song off of yet. I still received it fairly early, though. I think it came in last Friday or Saturday.

The Broadways played a set last year @ Riot Fest and it was great.

They played Chicago on New Year's Eve.

Yes!
Also, I don't watch much reality TV but I do watch Top Chef. You can always tell who will be on the top or kicked off by which character's background they focus on throughout the episode.

And Chet on the Weird Science show!

"Son of a son of a bitch!"

"I…I…I…I want the knife!"
- Eddie Murphy

Not sure who is booking their shows recently, but Durty Nellie's in Palatine has been setting up a few more national acts. I saw Murder by Death there last year, and Deafheaven is playing in March. Usually, that place is your standard suburban cover band bar.

I just saw 88 Fingers Louie a few weeks back, with Joe on bass. They were great! But… The Bollweevils were even better.

Stepkids!

The Pizza Hut "I Play in Right Field" commercial before the Ninja Turtles movie on VHS. I guess I watched that movie so much as a kid, the commercial was burned into my memory.

Blu Ray/VHS combo for some of us (58%).
