@Odin: No and no. You turn the stupid phone/camera, so the camera is focused on you, and look at the camera screen in the mirror...

@waclark57: Actually, his bike uses disc breaks. This won't work on the normal breaks since the zip-ties will end up destroying them!

Anyone else having issues where many of the images on this site don't show up? For example, above, all I see is a 'can't find image' icon...

@WDubois: Thank you for stating what I think everyone here has been missing. Geez/

seems like that tweet was taken down...

@supergeek1694: Yup. In my experience, city lights are generally timed, and suburbs tend to have detectors. The detectors are basically metal detectors in the ground (an induction coil) that detect cars stopped at the lights.

@PACKFAN4LIFE: I have a Kinect. While I'm not completely sure, I don't believe there should be an issue, especially if you're wearing pants. The kinect tracks you using a VGA camera and a depth (IR) camera. Neither camera depends on the "material" of your leg (it's not an X-Ray machine), so I'd imagine it would work

You know, all I need is a little mp3 player with a screen and buttons.

so they fix the shuffle and break the nano...

The reason the hardware is bigger than you might expect is because of the distance between the directional microphones at the bottom. Those microphones enable the kinect to sense whether voice commands are coming from the direction of a person standing in the room, or are external noise.

@Dodge2002: No the whole point of the nano was so I could go running with a light ipod in my pocket and select songs on its screen. If I can do that on the new ipod nano in a smaller package, even better...

@vinod1978: The Kinect hardware is motorized and nodds up and down to follow you. It's up-down range of motion is limited though, so waist level would seem appropriate for the hardware to keep you in its sight at all times.

@zieroh: how important the middle click is really depends on your browsing style: for me it's absolutely crucial.
