Yeah, that's the other thing. It doesn't really teach you "why" something is done grammatically or if there are any standardized rules or routines to use to conjugate verbs, gendered words, etc. that you should memorize. That stuff was always boring to learn in class but it does help.

I use Duo Lingo to practice my German, since I already had studied it.
I tried it for Irish and Spanish. I didn't get very far but I'm not sure I can put it all on Duo Lingo. I think it's biggest weakness is conversation. You can't really practice that with the app. I think they try to keep it updated but I think you…
