They’ve also done almost nothing to actually build a foundation for the relationship. And it doesn’t help that Alex keeps saying things like “I barely know you but I’m already madly in love with you!” It doesn’t change the fact that, for the audience, they took a lot of shortcuts.

If they use Lena’s plotline here to shuffle her off away so as to not interact with the rest of the cast again, I will be mightily annoyed.

-James might run for the US Senate. Well, that sounds about as plausible as Kara winning a Pulitzer.
-Lena using Miss Techmacher as a test subject gave me so much wicked glee, I only feel a tiny bit bad about it. I also think she staged that confrontation with Andrea to get Techmacher to comply.
-I love Kara, I really

It think it is more accurate to say about last season everything Lex was great..the rest of the plot points? Meh. The children of liberty just dissolved into easily beatable red shirts and any nuance with Ben Lockwood’s character was destroyed. Machester Black was literally just dropped when they got approval to do

It doesn’t help that Kelly was clearly introduced for the express purpose of being Alex’s love interest.

Well Daisy never actually slept with Ward just made out with him. And in fairness they obviously didn’t know he was Hydra at the time whereas Snow has obviously shown to be kind of psycho.

Yeah, Lena has already risked her life trying to save Kara’s; at that point, Kara really really owes Lena the truth so she’ll take better care of herself.

The best thing for Kara to have done was tell Lena with everyone else present. They could have served as support and talked Lena down.

I did a major eyeroll when Alex told her not to.

The point still stands, they all knew and she didn’t.

Why didn’t J’onn revert to his Martian form when his powers were blocked?

I don’t think the President knows Kara’s identity, he just captured her thinking she was a nosy reporter. Because Red Kara took her somewhere else left she showed up.

It doesn’t help that they’ve clearly introduced Kelly for the sole purpose of becoming Alex’s girlfriend.

She’s been a pretty shitty friend too. I mean his parent got divorced and she didn’t talk to him, then shames him for cruising for sex whilst courting a serial killer... and isn’t she the one who made Kevin go after Chic in the first place?

Haha, I know. It made sense for the character, but I did like how Hiram was all “I HAD TO SAY YES, HE CHALLENGED ME IN FRONT OF _BUSINESS ASSOCIATES_” and I’m pretty sure IRL even mob guys would be all “uh, you’re actually taking a challenge from a high schooler seriously?”

There’s no way Jason is the real Gargoyle King... that would imply that next week Trevor Stines will actually be allowed to speak.

- Glad Mick was actually involved in the main overall plot for once, as opposed to dealing with some random not-Neron plot.

Kara’s worried about telling Lena because of the betrayal, so she’s decided to...wait even longer to tell her, thus enhancing the inevitable sense of betrayal when she finally learns the truth.

Making Lena a villain would be just about the biggest mistake this show could make.

That would be the best way, AmaltheaElanor - they could still have a fight over it, like Lois did at the start of Season 3 of LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN. It would, I hope, wrap up fairly quickly - once Lena realizes the reason Kara didn’t tell her after the original getting to know each other period

Doubt it. Since James is now healed, there’s literally no other reason for Kelly to be on the show other than to be Alex’s love interest.
