The problem wasn’t the gameplay, but the tight lipped nature of the marketing and the fact the beta was an extremely poor representation of the final product. Which, funny enough, is what a beta actually would be. However, in these days, people hear “beta” and think “demo”. The beta build everyone played the past few

So a single player game with a 10-15 hours campaign at $60 with no replayability with potentially paid DLC is ok with you but a $60 with a 10-15 hours single player campaign with tons of multiplayers content added on top of it and free DLC is not ok.

If the first two words in a game’s title are “Tom Clancy’s,” that game is already political.

Feeling the same as you, I would be very happy if they released mvc2 for switch and would pay $30 for it on the spot.

Can you give some examples of how FFCC accomplishes environmental storytelling?

“Master-class”...? Really? We must have different definitions of “environmental storytelling”, since very little is actually environmental to my knowledge (still own the game and all the cables/GBAs). Almost all the lore is told by NPCs, through cutscenes, or through voiceovers. The environmental storytelling that was

It wouldn’t, because an average Tesla driver isn’t watching a movie. A level 2 system is meant to be used alongside the driver.

I don’t remember any point at which Reloaded was the best. I went to see it in theatre and beside the cliffhanger ending which isn’t super enjoyable, it was a fun movie but never reaching the heights of the first one. Of course I wasn’t part of all the conversations about it but from my experience, everyone loved the

The Matrix is a great film. So much so it allowed for two crappy sequels.

No it decreased. The game likely sucked already and that’s why they fired the guys in charge and delayed release until 2021

You couldn’t make a movie like Blazing Saddles in today’s climate? Got news for you: they barely made Blazing Saddles in 1974 - go back and read some of the commentary in the day. Decent people didn’t go to see movies like that.

I for one am very grateful for these context statements. I know the right way to think, and I can apply my brain to its intended purpose of holding up my hat.

Maybe! We have a society have a very bad track record of “Getting” satire. I’ve heard it called the Fight Club Effect. A brand of toxic masculinity that intentionally misinterprets satire as inspiration for their bad bbehaviour. See also the MRA movement co-opting the “Red Pill” from the Wachowskis’ Trans liberation

The DC ate the PS2s lunch for that first year. Unfortunately Sony is way better at marketing. Nfl2k started better than Madden, it ended better than Madden. That DC launch lineup is legendary. I don't think there was ever a more impressive one.

Oh yeah, Im pretty sure most of the ZOE sales were just for the MGS2 demo (myself guilty of that)

To me all the entries in Metal Gear Solid have represented a gold standard for what cinematic action games can be for each generation. Man I’m going to miss that franchise.

I had actually forgotten that FFX wasn’t a launch title, guess it was just one of the first games I cared about... For good reason, evidently.

What in the fuck does that have to do with my comment? He talked about making a meal that took an hour, not 20 minutes, which is what I was fucking responding to.

I love cooking from scratch, but come on man. Most people don’t have an hour to spend over the stove 7 days a week. Sometimes, just not getting fast food is as good as you’re getting and this seems like a good busy family recipe.

If something takes 52 minutes for a chef to make, it is going to take more than an hour for an amateur home cook to make.
