I’ve said this before in other threads, but DO NOT threaten the dealership with legal action. The vast majority will stop talking to you immediately, and direct all further comms to go through their attorney.

This is terrible advice. Most dealership employees are told to stop dealing with you directly the second you mention getting a lawyer involved.
