It’s pretty clearly an early hint that Aaron is an asshole, and the movie absolutely knows it. He makes that crack at the date-rape segment, and every woman in the room gives him a death glare, not played for laughs at all.

Listen to how he justifies it, too. What a completely gross buffoon. As a fellow gay man, I am extra creeped that he seems to thinks he can size up women like this and not get checked. He can backtrack all he’d like, but he clearly spent considerable time assessing her looks (and their subsequent impact on her role).

Yep, it was the King Kong remake and Dino DeLaurentis said that in Italian in front of her, not knowing that Meryl, being perfect and a goddess, spoke fluent Italian. She gave him a proper reaming out in his native tongue too.

I’ve seen the trailer. In what universe is Mulligan not attractive? It reminds me of the old story about Meryl Streep being passed over for a role by a male director, saying she was ugly and her nose was too big. The part went to Jessica Lange. I’m sure Meryl has had a good many laughs about it since then.

I largely agree with this, with one exception: this lucky person got a first dose that would have expired, but is now entitled to the follow up shot that would otherwise be a first dose of a higher risk person.

Our cats thankfully didn’t need surgery but they had chronic health conditions that required medicine and checkups later in life. And don’t forget the annual dental cleanings. Far too many people purchase a dog based on looks. Owning a sporting/herding dog in the city like buying a 2 seater Ferrari as your only car when you have 3 kids and make minimum wage. 

Don’t forget time & cost for training. So many people buy a dog and think teaching it basic commands (sit, lay, stay) is enough. It’s not.
