Mom had a vacation home on Rainbow Mountain in Ellijay for a couple decades before moving to Arizona next door to my sister. Very scenic area.  Never been on a cruise though, outside my time in the Coast Guard.

Also late 30's, also enjoyed being on a cruise.  I can see why people don’t like it, and can see myself not liking it if I didn’t pay for a more premium experience.  Looking back, wish we fit another one in before all hell broke loose here.  Actually looked at a Russia cruise a few years back.  Not going there anymore.
