He’s on a gravel bike but it’s still really impressive; especially with the likely grade changes they had.  I raced a 50 miler once and averaged 20 mph (gravel race) but it was flat, hard-packed, Georgia clay in a lot of spots.

I’m boring...The Tail of The Dragon.  Not sketchy but the way everyone drives it could lead to it being pretty dangerous.

Electrical.  All of them had an issue where the cluster and infotainment would just cut off while driving.  Third time was a charm and they’ve had this one for over a year now I believe.

Shocker..friend of mine and his wife are on their third suburban due to lemon laws.  He said as long as they keep replacing he’ll keep getting them, lol.  He’s more patient than I.

I never understood it until I started traveling for work to Europe.  I never rent a car.  I get a taxi to where I’m staying and everything is in walking distance once I’m there.

Ah..a cheap but unreliable GX550...

agree it’s business/capitalism but ultimately we don’t have a need for dealerships anymore other than test drives. I could see brand specific maintenance shops but not dealerships.

Dealers getting everything they deserve.  The markups were ridiculous and consumers finally whittled down to the ones that decided “nah...don’t really need one so I give up”.

show us where he hurt you

I think my rough mathing showed I would get maybe 40-45 mpg if I went with a 4xe.  Honestly if they offered it in Gladiator trim I would be more on board (truck stuff) but I may still consider the normal Wrangler.

We’ve done Royal and Carnival.  We’re actually heading out on MSC in three days.  Royal is more kid-friendly and both were fairly loud.  Carnival was fun and more of a party.  Not sure what to expect with MSC but the ship itself will be the largest I’ve sailed on at 160k.

If they could get the 4xe up to 40-50 miles of range I would cancel my silverado EV preorder and buy one.  I commute 43 miles each way and my company provides charging.  I have a Wrangler unlimited and love it but 14 mpg ain’t cuttin it when it comes to commuting.

holy crap...I was just quoting road trip....that’s messed up!

I owned a first year fit sport as a commuter.  For it’s size and lack of power it wasn’t all that efficient and overall it was a piece of crap...

Unfortunately many states have similar laws for other things. In Georgia I had wanted to open a microbrewery but you can’t actually “sell” your beer in kegs unless you go through a distributor.  Our neighbors up in North Carolina allow direct-to-consumer.  Same concept for anything honestly...Whoever has the lobby

It’s not cheating if you let your dog lick peanut butter off your balls cause it’s your dog....

The life vest thing came from my kayak fishing.  Takes a second to capsize a kayak and hit your head leading to a drowning.  I can imagine the ocean is 1000x worse.

I’ve never been in a boat that I was driving (captaining? I don’t know the terminology) but I know I would require all my people to have a life vest on.  I didn’t see any people in these videos wearing one (except the boats that were sinking with those people hustling to put one on last minute...)

Had a buddy who was hit by a fire truck with no lights/sirens on as they went through a red light.  It was a “no fault” accident but he only had liability so he lost his vehicle while the fire truck NOT responding to anything got off.

That gets a star....not the kind of star the device will use but a star nonetheless...
