it's not just making a murderer. Dry labbing is a thing and some of the scandals they mention (the 32 men executed on bullshit evidence) is legit. I think it's brave to tackle it

the thing about louis is that many people who were wrongfully convicted were guilty of other crimes. Several people who were wrongfully executed (or exonerated) were criminals (i.e. Clarence Brandley was guilty of assault and attempted kidnapping; he was still innocent of the rape and murder that almost got him…
no the confession was bullshit. Jesse confessed after hours of interrogation and was malleable enough that coercion into believing he did it was possible. By that logic (that because Echols was crazy he's a murderer) means that John Beyers did it (he was also a violent asshole) or terry hobbs (just as violent)
