Agree about the optics on PS5 games. It’s almost like this list left off cross-gen games entirely for some reason.

It was typically a matter of when and not if with me and the Series X. I think this list kinda gives a skewered impression that the PS5 doesn’t have as many games when in fact a number of them are cross gen (FFXVI is oddly absent from the list). Still, it’s undeniable that MS is about to erase that “no exclusives”…

I am VERY excited for this masterpiece.

Because they don’t want to wait a year or two, obviously.  

I much prefer Sony’s approach here and don’t have a lot of sympathy for the mountains of trash and shovelware that clog my experience on Nintendo and MS’s storefronts.

I mean I can get why people wouldn’t like it, but it’s not a turd. People need to really get off all the internet hyperbole. Just because something isn’t amazing doesn’t mean it is the complete opposite. Its ok for things to be good or even mediocre. FF13 is fine, maybe even good in some ways.

the battle system was legit good.

I kinda liked the story.  And as a guy who liked FF8, I am a story over gameplay guy.

Saber’s Edge is pretty dope.

The combat was easily the best in the series except *maybe* X2.

I believe the ps3 version also had uncompressed prerendered cutscenes since they could fit on a Blu ray, but Xbox couldn’t fit them on their disc format without compression and two discs. Not sure which one the PC port is based on
