Meh. You are overstating the problem. If you bought Arkham Knight on PS4 or Xbox One it was fine. The Witcher 3’s only shitstorm was a bunch of idiotic posts about “downgrades.” Games like Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4, CODAW, etc. launched in good shape.
Don’t use Valve as a harbringer of consumer rights. CD Projekt Red with GoG and even EA with Origin had return policies WAY before Valve even thought about implementing one.
