Battlefront 2 and Pepperidge Farm remembers.

The Xbox One doesn’t have VR at all. They have a weird PR partnership with Oculus that let’s you stream games over the internet to Windows 10 (hello latency) and then stream that to a virtual 2D screen-inside-a-screen in which you play in a virtual living room.

Sony have a pretty innovative screen here (dot matrix?), and my hands-on with it felt a LOT less pixelated/bad than Oculus DK2 did.

The Deep. They’ve had it at a bunch of events, though I’m not sure if it is at E3.

Let’s frame this honestly: VR in general needs more games. I know this is specifically about Morpheus, and I agree, but I don’t hear other people say the same about VR like Vive and Occulus.

Look, I know this might be wishful thinking, but if they could just have morpheus work with no mans sky, I don’t think I would ever take the headset off

You think the plug and play one that you can just plug into your PS4 will be a dud vs. the Oculus that will need a pretty powerful and expensive computer that takes quite the setup to get working in games, and people already don’t like setting up PC Games. I hate to tell you if this thing is a dud the Oculus never had

People may dislike these VR headset but I can say that VR has it’s place amongst flight sim/racing sim. In fact, it works well for any games that involves sitting in place and interacting from there (cockpit). Far better than the current multiple monitor solution.

A computer with i7 and 8gigs ram being called old? wut? That must mean my shit is prehistoric..

It’s okay man I just feel like a geezer now I’m using a *gasp* 2012 Macbook Pro Retina. It has never run any games since day 1 without overheating

8 gigs of DDR3 is low now? Man my machine is outdated...

Their screen is different forgot what its called but its come kind of color dot matrix and apparently its good at killing the screen door effect. Thats good because it makes them more affordable.

I hope you're saving up for cutting edge graphics cards. Flight sims push PCs pretty hard as it is. Can't imagine the load of twice the pixels.

I am pretty sold on VR, I would gladly buy a morpheus if it is around $300-350. I do also like the idea of it also being a virtual tv for normal games as well, like the WiiU gamepad for playing games when the TV is in use... hopefully. But then again I did buy a Kinect and Move Controllers when they came out. Kinect

I read the aproject CARS already works with Project Morpheus too. I have been meaning to buy it bit havent yet. I think sitting in the drivers seat of a bunch of racecars would be so awesome.

I dearly hope support for No Man’s Sky is announced at some point. This kind of immersion with that kind of sandbox and cost becomes a secondary concern.

tons of people drop $200-500 on high end sim controls (logitech g27, thrustmaster warthhog, etc) that are only supported in select games or platforms... i dont see how this would be any different

Mod support is not Xbone exclusive. They confirmed it for PS4.
