Well, you’re right. It’s generic as fuck, and when you decide to go with an art style that has zero appeal, on the 3DS of all things, that system isn’t going to prop up your shitty art style with good graphics, no sir, it’ll make it look even more like ass.

Here’s the thing: When a company hasn’t made a game in that franchise for, what, 5 years, and you hear something about Metroid being announced at E3, and it’s this utter *joke* of a game, people get pissed.

I’d add that the art of the new Metroid title is not looking good.

Everyone was hyped up to see a new full on Metroid Prime, including myself. Personally, I wasted an hour watching the Ninty Direct. I was one of the millions expecting a new Metroid announcement, but not a multiplayer game version. And I guess this is the vitriol Nintendo weren’t expecting, but maybe need.

Kickstarter is basically a tool for demonstrating the existence of a viable customer base for many projects. It only provides some seed money to show serious investors that this project is worth putting their money into.

same. Fallout 4 would be the 2nd fallout game I ever played, 1st ever to complete if I do so :/

Interesting - I was curious about this. Imagine how hard their chests were pounding as all of this was going on. Talk about working up an instant sweat.

The PlayStation-Activision deal for the next Call of Duty will grant PlayStation owners 30 days of exclusivity to DLC before it comes to other platforms, Sony’s Adam Boyes told us at E3. That’s across the board, including PC, so basically this is the old Xbox CoD deal with Sony swapped in.

ummm....chrom is in the game and you can weild the his sword...also they just showed anna in a market lol...its pretty overt

I don’t know anything about any of these games but this looks bananas and I will probably buy it.

I don’t get people, never have, never will

This game looks like the turducken of Persona, Fire Emblem and The World Ends With You

I need this in my life.

It’s a SMT game that just happens to use some Fire Emblem bits as flavoring.

You don’t even need to know the “mythos” of Fire Emblem games to enjoy a Fire Emblem game. They’re mostly disconnected, and even when there are references to a previous story you won’t be at a loss not knowing about that; it’s a series seemingly made to let you hop in wherever after learning it exists.

Naw. Seems enjoyable just the same.

The world ends with you

Neeeeed this.

It’s in the mechanics. It’s in the costumes, and characters you fuse with/come across in the world. I mean, it’s not supposed to be overt I don’t think, since it is meshing with a different game, but the elements are there!
