If he has no issues with Terraria and Minecraft, this will be a great game in the same vein for him. It's like Terraria, but smoother and much larger. It also has a stronger survival aspect.

Yep! I can definitely give PC gamers that. The platform is far more expensive, but it's the most multipurpose of any piece of tech.
