The prospect of a newer Switch model is honestly what’s kept me from buying one. Knowing that Nintendo almost always releases their systems with slightly improved hardware down the line (ie: DSi,3DS XL,ect.) kept me from being an early adopter.

Better battery and better processor. The overall issue I’m hearing is games slowing down and having framerate issues un-docked.
The hardest thing to try and fight AGAINST this argument is that every single videogame pundit was imploring for this kind of development concentration for Nintendo.
Gave devs a reason to be lazy for a decade with that crappy 240p screen
XBC remake!
Yea, the screen size is effectively the same size as the wii U, and honestly you could say that is a perfect screen size for portable gaming. Yea, the iPhone XS Max has a larger screen, but it’s wider so it’s really apples to oranges.
They are probably going to just shave a little of the product weight off, round off the body corners, and add a couple of new colors. White. Metallic Blue. Cap it off with some “XL”, “ZX”, “Z28" marketing label nonsense, and watch the money roll in again.
I’ve thought about that angle for a while; earlier this year I was all for the concept, but really, what’s the point of switching if you can’t switch anything? Every time I showcase someone on the switch: a coworker, a friend, my freaking dad- it’s how effortless the whole switching concept is.

Kill the 3ds? Jesus. Fucking. Christ. Why do I even come to this stupid fucking website?
You already have tons of people bitching about how small the JoyCons are and you wanna make them smaller?
THE 3DS? You mean the console that has single-handedly saved Nintendo after the failure of the Wii U, and is still their best selling gaming platform.
I just want a screen that doesn't scratch if the wind blows on it.
Everytime I see a 3DS game I want to play, I get annoyed because the Switch should have access to all the old games and be the all-in-one gateway to all things Nintendo. The huge number of people using raspberry pi hand held ROM boxes screams that there's a market there. Hell, the ROM sites wouldn't be so successful…
I feel like I’ve seen this movie before.
It still won’t have Wind Waker HD, will it?
What did the 3DS do to hurt you?
Nintendo never released a CD-ROM gaming system. But for a while in the early 1990s, it flirted with the idea. That…
Miyamoto as he was against the billing model. “Since I get tired of things easily, I don’t want to keep making one game,
This is how it SHOULD be! Some people take themselves far too seriously.
