Looks like it had some potential.

POV space porn?

Dick Cheney as a killer space robot?

@mr_godot: You could argue that observation of David or Beethoven's music is just interaction. I definitely know that this isn't a 1:1 comparison, but to me, if something has the potential to be art to someone, then it is.

@mr_godot: We were just talking about this on a different website.

I've always wanted to see how Fedmahn Kassad's FORCE armor would look in concept art form. His armor is possibly the most badass, because it's abilities are so fleshed out in the novel (Hyperion).

@pɹɐoqʎǝʞuǝʞoɹq: Yeah I can't get used to the plastic feel of the Galaxy S phones - I love the way my N1 has a metal feel that's also slightly rubbery. And it has some heft. Hopefully HTC sticks with these types of builds.

"There is no way to not feel like a total dorkface while typing on this thing. In portrait, it's like tapping on a massive, nerdy phone. In landscape, it's just dumb. You still have to thumb type, only you're stretching out further, and text entry swallows up the entire screen."

@NexusSIX: Drake is BaaAAaaack!: It doesn't even make sense because he's not even moving it out of his eyes or anything.. it's just helmet hair and all he's doing is flipping it. It doesn't even go anywhere.

So can someone give me a brief explanation as to why galaxies like this end up having their stars all along the same (very) general plane?

@Decoy_Doctorpus: Yeah it's really too bad how much of an ass that guy comes across as...

@whmr: I hope that you realize when you're arguing on a sci-fi website about the Star Wars trilogies, you aren't really allowed to play the 'nerdy virgin' card.

@whmr: Sorry, but that's completely irrelevant.

Graph explanation fail

This was about a hundred times better than the Top Gun video that won. Seriously - more creative, funnier, just well done from start to finish.

@PeteyCoco: TWBB's soundtrack is one of my personal favorites.

I shudder to think about the overstatements that would have come out of Jobs' mouth if Apple had been the ones to release something like this first.

@Skutarth: Dashboard feels exactly the same to me.
