@dracosummoner: Those concepts fit in really well with a lot of the philosophical / metaphysical discussions that come up in some college courses.

@Sloopydrew: I can't even think of an actual straight-up FPS that lasted more than 10 hours. HL2 was less than 10. Sure, Fallout 3 was really long, but that wasn't really a shooter.

Wouldn't Gurney Halleck be more of an obvious choice for the Dune universe? I know he's not initially a smuggler, but that's basically what he is when he meets Paul after Leto is killed.

It's scary - the more you find out about George Lucas, the more you get the feeling that the original trilogy is so great in spite of him.
