The big difference is that the current AI systems aren’t able to be creative. Everything they make is derivative of something that already exists. Sure, people are going to be inspired by stuff that already exists, but just think about that for a moment because there still wouldn’t be any stuff to be inspired by if

Wow, who would have thought that adding an additional platform to develop for would make development take longer!

I don’t think the AI that’s available right now is actually capable of taking over some jobs as people are speculating. The inevitability would be companies trying to use anyway and simply being OK with the lower quality results as long as they make enough money.

Not the 4K versions of the movies though?

I tried out the demo but just couldn’t get into the game. It feels like a game that is happening “at you” rather than something you really participating in.

What a joke, they have all of the information they need for costs when it comes time for someone to sign up for a service, there’s very little extra work they would need to do to simply make that information more visible before people actually sign up.

Sounds like the type of thing people who don’t know how technology works would come up with

It speaks to the problems with AI that the companies that are making AI are telling their own employees not to use it for the purpose they designed it for. The only way I can think they could avoid the issue is if the AI were entirely on the local machine so that it doesn’t share any info. Not sure if that’s

Yeah, there’s like a 0% chance they didn’t know what they were doing.

Look who doesn’t know wtf they’re talking about...

While an external battery pack indicates it will have more graphical power, if you look at the kind of hardware requirements that a gaming PC would have to run a game at 4K, much less two displays at 4K and ~90fps I don’t think that the graphics would be that much more advanced. While 4K I think will be the eventual

Making games is certainly more expensive, but again, we’re talking about what they’re making for the Switch, which does not require an increase in graphical fidelity in any way similar to PS5/XBOX. And there certainly would be a significant improvement to the pipeline, there’s a big difference between not having made

They would always have to optimize the game so that’s not some new thing. While we’ve had a lot of inflation, it’s reasonable to assume that their ability to develop a Switch game has improved as well (better tools, more experience, etc.). Also, the market for Switch games is much bigger, with over 120 million

Everything I’m hearing about it seems like the headset will be far from revolutionary and instead just be a higher-end version of what already exists.

That’s kind of messed up--there’s no way a fighting game on the Switch would be justified in a higher price. While TotK is not super graphically impressive it makes up for that with the amount of content. The amount of work needed for them to build an MK game for the Switch has not changed just because the newer

Honestly it looks extremely similar to Rogue One. Of course you would expect the visual style to be similar since it’s from the same director, but it also has elements and scenes that look pretty much the same, like battles on the beach, a space station, etc.

I wonder if maybe the developer could provide a demo “Starting Point” save file that can be used if they would like to give the player a different point within the game to play the demo from?

It’d be really cool for collectors if they made other sets in the same format where you could display them all. Superman would be great!

That’s something about video games that is interesting—games only really get a low review score due to technical issues and there are few games that are really considered “bad”. I think it’s due to that most people reviewing games will concede that a game is good even if it’s not their tastes as long as it’s made well

I wonder if he can be sued again for defamation by his continuing posts that are lying about it.
