If you use a cellphone though like the video is trying to emulate then it would be doing the same thing and adjusting the exposure.

I’m honestly impressed that they’ve been able to make a system that’s released a new entry every year for so long. But it did seem to me with the latest game that they didn’t have any good ideas for a game, it’s the first one with a single player campaign that I skipped, it just came and went and I barely noticed.
Not really surprising, it seemed like a bad idea for a movie back when it was first announced, then they made all the wrong choices with casting and going through multiple directors.
It doesn’t have anything in it as bad as the worst parts of the series, but on the other end it has nothing that it does well. It’s extremely average, the script is fine but not particularly interesting or compelling. While the visual effects are well done it’s the least visually interesting of the series, very dull…
This is overblown criticism, but consistent with how this site has been moving towards. It feels like most articles are just some variation of “Hey! Popular thing is actually bad!”
“Does it need to be an NFT to do that?”
You know what’s distracting? All the spammy emails they keep sending, especially the ones where they’re trying to hawk some massively overpriced spaceship
Chances are, if someone is using an NFT as their profile pic then what they post is not worth your time
And there’s nothing that NFT’s offer that they can’t create with a basic e-comerce system. A system like that would have none of the downsides of NFT’s. For example Steam trading cards can be bought and sold for real money and NFT’s wouldn’t make it any better.
I hope the people complaining about that don’t take a look at Ubisoft games. The Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed games are designed to reuse as much as possible from the previous game and their whole schedule is based on it (meaning the next Assassin’s Creed game will be very similar to Valhalla). They do that with other…
That’s what I’ve been saying, it requires some pretty big technological breakthroughs to make what they were showing and even if they do the ‘metaverse’ isn’t really anything special, it would just be a virtual world product/service
This was probably the worst possible thing he could have done, everything that he says in there is truly awful
Watched The Truman Show a while back—it does not hold up, I feel like it’s one of those movies that quickly lost relevance and just doesn’t work anymore. Jim Carrey is the only good part of it, the rest of it just isn’t good.
Just because it’s an audio clip doesn’t mean that people can’t download it, it’s not as simple as right-click>Save As, but it’s not that much more difficult either. The actual images and content associated with NFT’s are hosted like any other web content which means it’s available to access in some way. At the very…
I can see why it has the lower critic rating, I picked it up on PC during a recent sale and tried it out and couldn’t get into it at all, the beginning that I saw wasn’t particularly interesting and there was minimal player interaction.
Whatever config files there are are in some encoded format, it doesn’t use the standard UE4 config files. (FFVII is made with UE4 not UE5 btw)
Microsoft does have a lot of studios and games in production, but they’ve had that before, and then studios got shut down and games got cancelled or they came out and weren’t very good (Crackdown 3). They’ve relied on Gears of War/Halo/Forza for the last like 5 years as their major exclusives. But—looking forward they…
The exclusives are still the reason I got a PS5. Xbox has fewer must-play games, the two that matter are Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite and those both came out very recently.
Part of the issue though is that even before when the standard console game price was $60 there are/were still plenty of AAA games getting released on PC for $50.
A deepfake can only look as realistic as its source. Animation is one of the main difficulties in making things look realistic, many CGI creations look great in a still but the way they move gives it away. For faces, it’s especially difficult because a lot is going on. So if you made a fully digital creation and the…
