@presto117: Nothing beats a one click root. When I switched over to the Evo from the Captivate, I was a little ticked off that it took 2 hours to root it.

@jakemiles: The one thing I regret about switching from the Captivate to the Evo was the screen. The Evo's just pales in comparison to the glorious SAMOLED screen.

@globeadue: Captivate... dated tech... that must make the Evo 4G and the like archaic.

@Dhaman: The only downside (To some) is Touchwiz. It's easily replacable by LauncherPro or ADWLauncher, though, and made the experience more enjoyable to me. It's also a lot snappier. You really can't go wrong with the phone.

@eliavictor: Honestly, yes. I recently flashed CM6 to my Evo, and it's zooming now.

@NoelVeiga: If the leaked specifications are indeed correct, I don't see how anyone in their right bloody mind could think this looks bad - *especially* for the hardware it's utilizing. This is up there, or even better than the Samsung Galaxy S line for Christ's sake, and that thing has a 1Ghz Hummingbird processor.

@Dhaman: As a Captivate to Evo convert, I must say I really like the Captivate better. Better screen, better pictures, better processor/GPU. Both are excellent phones. There isn't a giant community for the Captivate yet, though, but once 2.2 source is released it will be flying.
