The effect is impressive.

It was a devastating blow, but one that fit with Johnson’s overall ethos for Star Wars: It doesn’t matter where you’re from because greatness can come from anywhere.”

I don’t remember anyone being mad at Lando being black.

Rose bugged me in TLJ. Not because she was a woman or because of her ethnicity, but because she seemed to have been introduced mainly to be forced into a relationship with Finn. I liked the character, but the forced “romance” pissed me off to no end.

The thing that gets me is that Rose’s involvement in the plot literally wastes everyone’s time, and actively derails what would have been a pretty complete arc. Honestly, I think Finn should have died on Crait and destroyed the mini-death star battering beam. But, Rian “Subversion” Johnson wasn’t going to throw that

Oh for fucks sake, who gives a shit about a tertiary character? Meaningless hand wringing over a character who could have been replaced with anybody and no one would have missed her.

“I think it gives us a more open-ended view of storytelling and doesn’t lock us into this three-act structure,” she said. “We’re not going to have some finite number and fit it into a box. We’re really going to let the story dictate that.”

LOL! The Mandalorian was great. Most of these “issues” lasted less than 24 hours. In a week they’ll be ancient history. Disney+ is a juggernaut, and this outrage won’t even be a blip a year from now.

The difference is Abrams has proven he understands what makes Star Wars special. Johnson labored under the incorrect and arrogant delusion that there was something about Star Wars that needed fixing. Star Wars doesn’t need to be ‘fixed’ because it was fucking great to begin with. Johnson could have done TLJ in a more

SPOILER ALERT:

So Kurtzman basically lays waste to everything that was established to build his own version of Star Trek. Starfleet gone. Federation collapsed. Just complete trash.

Judging entire groups of people by the actions of the few is not the woke outlook on life you think it is.

Stop playing games? How noble of you! Continue on with your oh-so-honorable cause!

Love her, hate this story, hate that product. Nicotine dependency is no laughing matter. I’m 12 years off smoking and I try very hard not to be that person. And honestly, I never did a deep dive into any of the e-cigs but from what I understand they’re just as addicting as regular cigarette. And I don’t think the lack

What’s wrong with Dany getting ignored? That’s one of the few things that makes perfect sense in this episode. Yeah, she helped them against the Undead, but she’s still an outsider (whose ancestors killed Starks), and she is in the North, and the Northmen are close and distrustful of outsiders. The fish out of water

Bear in mind the story for this one is essentially course correcting the complete rewrite of the script that Rian Johnson did for the Last Jedi. Johnson pretty much ignored the film’s place in the planned trilogy and wrote the story off a cliff with his changes.

It should be pointed out that more than two years passed between Daredevil seasons 2 and 3. And something like 18 months from Defenders to DD3. So 2 years isn’t really that big a gap.

Actually, I think it’s good news, because it means Disney has two years to figure out what it wants to do and get commitments from the actors. My worse case scenario has them greenlighting Daredevil Season 4 and then having to recast because some of the actors made other commitments already.  Two years isn’t much in

That is a fun cover, I’ll be checking this out. Dennis Hopeless is a good fit for the property.
