1st gen NSX (3.0 and 3.2) sounded amazing.

There’s no pleasant lines; nothing you can call “beautiful.” This doesn’t communicate graceful agility and precision as much as it does technical brutalism.

Lots of 80s era cars where AC was not standard had switches like that. EF hondas/CRXes for example, the AC on/off button is in the bottom right of the climate controls. The temp dial determines the blend of air through the heater core vs AC evaporator, the button determines whether the AC compressor runs. On non-AC…

And that was before Elon’s plan to add 30k of additional pieces of space junk.

so true. i see couples waiting in line for an hour. then taxi/rideshare rolls up. they put their bags in the car & hug for 20 minutes - holding up the line.

They don’t use up the battery first and then switch to gas. My Kia Niro PHEV is constantly turning the engine on and off. If you use the gas on a hill it turns on. If you want to pass anyone on a normal 4 lane road, it turns on. God forbid you are in a rural area with twisty roads, it’s like playing with a light…
