The original crumple zone.
Half of Americans are below average, and the average is not high to start with.
Engagement may be where it’s at.
I’m working on a Meyers Manx SR (dune buggy) that I plan on making an EV. Since it is likely to be used very infrequently, being an EV has some significant benefits for me. No winterizing to deal with, and generally less issues caused by having it sit unused for potentially extended periods.
It’s the real vs fake feeling which is the same everywhere else in life. Where you can technically “do” more with the digital option, but it doesn’t matter because it’s just not the same. Other examples include:
They feel boring to drive, other then acceleration they don’t have much going for them. On my bike I can run it out to 12k rpm and above 3500 the whole feeling and sound of the bike changes, it goes from a nice commuter bike and really comes alive. I have a modified vw that always puts us in a good mood to drive, its…
It looks like a Magnum in the back.
Yep, I have a similar gripe. A lot of “coastal” communities are losing a lot of sand and houses are dropping into the sea. To combat this issue, they’ve got the genius idea called sand reclamation. Yep, somebody thought it was a good idea to put sand back where the sea had claimed. At the cost to the taxpayer.
As a shooting brake fan I happen to really like the FF. I wish Volvo or Polestar would give us a new 1800ES. The BRZ/86 prototype shooting brake was nice looking as well as the planned but never built Kappa based Nomad.
I have looked for just such a thing, with no luck. I wonder, what brand/model sort of thing was this, and how long ago did you have it?
I used to have a cell phone that had an FM radio tuner in it, but it only worked if you plugged in a pair of headphones, because it used the headphones wire as the antenna. Phones don't come with headphones jacks anymore, though.
If you look a little closer, those lights are either not in service yet or dead. The light in view is covered in black plastic. Personally, I think every crosswalk that is not at an intersection with either a stop sign or traffic signal should be required to have amber flashing crosswalk lights.
keep in mind that there really is no survivable cure for stupid.
They’re standard enough that you could cobble something together if you had the time and know-how. There are certainly limits, but most electronic components are happy within a reasonable range of voltage as long as the amperage is sufficient. And the physical requirements (bolt locations, motor spindle size,…
If there was enough volume, like with Teslas and Leafs, there will be aftermarket inverter (control) boards and aftermarket battery management systems (BMS).
they should be manual only releases to begin with, no one will figure this convoluted crap out in a panic situation
Oh, Maybellene, why can’t you be true?
You just started doing the things you used to do.
Damn I forgot about this. I love Blazers and I’m pretty sure they won a couple of awards.
Grid level battery storage. I honestly think that in the very long term, the grid storage side is worth more than the auto side.
