BUT they have to pay this money or violate the WARN act.  There's no conditions on getting money for that.  They're supposed to warn them 60 days in advance of a layoff.  Instead of doing that Tesla is just paying them the 60 days in advance.  It's not really "severance."  Can they make them sign that crap?

I’m from Europe, so things are diffe3rent , and have been made redundant twice , once after 3 years and once after 12 , the 12 year one gave me basically the equivelent of a years salary all in . I work in IT though and nowadays its a nightmare getting employed as anything other than a contactor , which can have its

My lay-off paperwork said this and also we cannot disparage the company.

You can have an attorney review it if youd like, but the severance payout is the entire point.  You dont sue us, you just take your money and we go our separate ways.  Very common practice and better than nothing at all.

In my line of work, I’ve seen many many many severance agreements. And exactly 100% of them contain similar clauses along the lines of “If you accept this severance, you can’t turn around and sue us”. Tesla is shitty, but this is not a shitty Tesla move, it’s an “every employer in the country” type of move.

I currently own a 2022 p450 convertible and previously had a 2016 coupe. They are and were two of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Zero troubles with either, ever. Imma keep the 2022 - it has stage a Velocity/AP1 tuning, custom lowering springs, and 15mm spacers. White with the factory black 20" wheels, there is nothing

The slow turns, yes...!  If my Crosstrek can do that turn at 30mph, trust me your BMW can too.  (And learning to drive in the Appalachians - if a turn is marked as, say, 35mph, then in good weather and conditions you can probably take it at 40 or 45... but regardless, you certainly don’t have to slow down to *25*!)

Methinks a politician got cut and said “never again”.

If I recall correctly it was Acura that approached Luda regarding the restoration. We can’t know if he had bothered restoring it to the spec if he had had to pay it himself. Anyway, it’s nice when people stick to reasonable things (even for emotional reasons) when they have all the means to go over the board.

Anyone making $32k in Southern California can’t even afford rent in the shittiest parts of it.

The wheels are ok, but the rest uncouth. If you like those wheel arches, just get a De Tomaso Pantera.

Because nothing says cool like a spoiler on a pickup truck. Very handy for bed access, too.

Well this site hates Musk, or anything about Tesla so this type of article is right up their alley.

Second, does Tesla have a roll back option if something failed? I’m curious what type of damage would have been sustained if you tried to open the door...great, now we have to worry about some idiot choosing to perform an update with their kid in the back.”

Sorry, but I hate HID lights. My ‘08 Mustang GT Premium had them and the bulbs were expensive and were really no better than premium halogen. But for now, I am LED 100%.

M100 Elan arguably. Because wrong wheel drive.

May I suggest the Eclat? Austin Maxi transmission (or a 3 speed auto), the infamously unreliable Lotus 900 series, and drum brakes.

Ugly cars can be incredibly cool. That car is ugly. It is also cool.

Yes, I think that this Jag or a Maserati Gran Turismo are more of his style. The look and sound of the Maserati is fantastic! There are a few in my town, and they do grab my attention every time.
