Anyone remember Star Wars BattleChess? It came on like, 12 floppies...

@Curves: Except it'll be a thousand dudes to every gal! At least our gay compatriots have Grindr.

Ugh. For a lot of people I know, I really have no desire for them to see the play by play of what I'm listening to. Maybe I put something strange on repeat. I dunno. Maybe I listened to something corny.

There's a deep connection with the interest in making something remote happen. I'm standing here. I do something here. Something happens to that thing or creature over there. The ability to affect over distance is always captivating.

Hahahahaha....srsly? You know that our energy ratings for cars are BS, right? Car makers do things like program the ECU in a way to get the optimal number, even if in practical usage it's not that great. GM has transmission designs that deliver better fuel performance, but they don't use them because it doesn't look

I've always had issue accepting the impact theory. It could be part of it, but it seems like something is missing. They said the Permian event could have been an impact and it was worse...it seems like we ought to see some smaller non-avian dinosaur scavengers hanging on for a little bit.

@JS_Drupal: And you are going directly to the deepest level of Hell for refuting that there are good American beers. Hell, the Belgians dug OUR style of IPA so much, they started making their own version of American IPA...

They may claim that, but the reality is still there. The transcribed voicemails can be 'donated' to help them improve their algorithms.

I keep telling you people that the Ninth is nutty. Occasionally they're defended for being progressive. Well, crap like this ain't progress.

@En0s1: In a ditch.

How about instead we just destroy the RIAA under the Sherman Antitrust act? Haha, how appropriately named.

@ichiban1081: I think putting a right angle adapter on it and using a case will help cable longevity. Some group out of Thailand called null audio makes a replacement cable that is supposedly better, but I'm not willing to drop $100 on a cable; I find the increased quality claims to be spurious.

It's all about the bass to most people, I'd wager, because they don't actively listen to music, they only passively listen to music. When passively listening, 'the beat' is all you get out of it, and that comes out most with accentuated bass.

@ichiban1081: I got the TripleFi deal too....normally $400! But holy cow, these suckers blew everything else away. In fact, I've had to fall back on my ~$50 Sony's for the past few days, but my $20 replacement cable is waiting at home. Cables always go fast, so I understand dimes. But trust me, getting the UE's is

@Dr. What?: Yea, but Darwin is clearly wrong. Brains sexy? Linux kernel developers aren't known to be swimming in hotties.

If either PSN or XBL got penetrated heavily with cheating, it would quickly drive users to the other system; so I can't blame Sony for doing this.

@TonyRockyHorror: Ah, but do you live in DC? I do and I tend to agree with hawkeye here...

@SQLGuru: My "File Organization and Processing" book was written in the early 80s and I took the course in '02? The book is STILL hardcore. It laid out all the problems with ISAM whilst the world went nutty for MyISAM
