Garak was a pretty bad dude, but I’m pretty sure most Trekkies would be ecstatic if they announced Star Trek: A Simple Tailor.

The idea might be that, as executive producer, Stewart takes on the task of finding a new host, and having him identify and anoint a successor will boost that person. The host search has been such a clusterfuck so far that, outside of appointing someone well known like Sarah Silverman, anyone they could have picked at

Duncanville was hilarious and went before its time.

The first few episodes are very focused on Jenny Slate’s character, but by season 2 it becomes much more of an ensemble show.

The Great North is my favorite TV show that’s currently airing. I love the twists on the typical sitcom family (single dad, weird/absent mom, gay kid, younger married couple), the Alaska setting, the queer inclusivity. It’s a breath of fresh air.

Yup, Musk’s snake-oil performance has gone as far as it can go. Tesla’s stock is crashing, the Semi was a PR stunt, Cybertruck isn’t much better, the steep price cuts shored up revenue in Q4 but will absolutely crater sales/earnings in Q1.

The Living Construct battle in the Prodigy season 1 finale deserves honorable mention. It gets overlooked sometimes for being a “kids show,” but it was fucking gut-wrenching watching all those Starfleet ships tear each other apart.

Discovery Season 5 comes out in a couple of months and is set almost a thousand years after TOS.

Making the internet free-with-ads was absolutely a mistake.

Filoni’s movie is still happening, apparently, and live action Thrawn is his baby. I’m hoping this movie is more of a one-off adventure.

Tucker Carlson went from having the highest-rated nighttime cable show to interviewing Catturd.

if we turn our attention to Disney’s release schedule, there are films scheduled for release on May 22, 2026 and December 18, 2026.

The Mandalorian & Grogu will be the first official Star Wars film since 2019's middling The Rise Of Skywalker

I won’t say no to more Thrawn organ music.

The real mandalorian was the friends we made along the way.

In the novels (which are not canon to STO but form the basis of some of its lore), part of Ezri’s ongoing reconciliation with her late joining with Dax involves moving away from counseling and into command.

Star Trek Online remains a very fun sandbox of the Star Trek universe, but I’m worried about its future. The ongoing contraction of Embracer Group means that Cryptic Studios is moving from the shuttering Gearbox Publishing to DECA Games. The game’s probably not going anywhere soon because its still profitable, but the

I still wish they’d written Portman into Episode IX after Carrie Fisher’s death. Just say that Bail faked her death to hide her from the Emperor and put her in stasis, but no one woke her up since he died on Alderaan.

Maybe because it’s not a family show like the other MCU stuff.

If I were Paramount, I would shelve the Academy series and do Legacy instead to replace Discovery.
