This isn’t how the Trill worked, and while there is certainly precedence for resurrection in the franchise (hell, in this show even), it’s not nearly as charming as the writers seem to think it is.

All the more reason to scrap this endeavor and give us a continuation of the real Mighty Ducks:

I have it on good authority that the (former) executive producer of Jeopardy evaluated Richards and found him to be a stand up guy!

Major props to Kristen Stewart for getting an immortal demon to officiate her wedding.

More people following Avis is never a bad thing.

He’s rich, so that may in fact be what happened.

He’s been so rich for so long that there’s no one left around him who will say “that haircut is a bad idea” or “maybe a little more media training would help.”

Whereas I’ve watched 45 minutes of Prodigy and its lead character, Dal, is impossibly bland, to the point that it’s seemingly lampshaded when everyone is filling roles to repair the ship and asks, “and what are you doing?”.

That meme feels like it’s been around forever, it’s hard to believe it was filmed near the end of 30 Rock’s run.

You remember correctly. It was a Maquis colony and, as another commenter pointed out, Sisko destroyed it to win an argument with Eddington.

The same can be said of Archer, Kirk, Picard, and Sisko.

In fairness, Dune is a very, very, very long read. I read a lot of sci-fi, and wouldn’t even be attempting to read it now if it weren’t for Timothée Chalamet’s cheekbones.

Agreed! They were both good reads.

One of my favorite recent paranormal/horror novels was T. Kingfisher’s The Hollow Places, where a young woman finds a door to a deeply unsettling netherworld behind a crumbling wall in a museum. It had a very Twilight Zoney vibe.

You know what, I’m going to support the early 90s are superior argument because I was there.

Or better yet, Chase Masterson.

Shut up, that’s my favorite show!

Oh, this is the best coda to my recent rerun of the 372 Pages We’ll Never Get Back podcast series on TekWar.

Looking forward to this. Even pre-COVID, there was going to be a very long wait between seasons 2 and 3. Now, by the time season 3 comes out, Discovery will have aired two more seasons, even though they started at the same time!
