If you grow up in and around conservatism and nothing happens in your life to shake your beliefs, it’s not something you want to leave. I was the same way until life kicked me in the ass in my early twenties and forced me to reexamine my beliefs.

I want a BSG-style total reboot of B5. The original series did almost too good of a job of resolving itself, to the point that the various sequel attempts had less room to tell effective stories and suffered from it.
Whaaaaaaat? Zack doesn’t care for a new episode of post-Enterprise Star Trek? I never would have guessed!
I’d rather they get someone more professional to examine Trump on TV. Like Dr. Spaceman.
It’s from a Frasier episode, “The Innkeepers.”
The fact that QAnon started with one dipshit poster on 4Chan makes me think I need to up my internet game. Anyone want to help me start a doomsday cult in the Gizmodo comments?
Now I’m imagining them married and living in a quaint, suburban home with a mailbox labeled, “The Gun Kellys."
Holy crap, I posted almost the exact same thing in another comment before seeing yours. I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking this.
I agree. Everything Trump says and does is in his own self-interest, but if he can’t handle firing people to their face (in real life, not on The Apprentice), then he doesn’t have the backbone to attempt a literal coup.
Yeah, I fully expect D’Arcy Carden to show up again. Her line about holding onto the exosuit until it’s ready for, “the people who need it most” was the kind of ominousness I’d expect from a budding Bond villain.
I had the same question. Most likely she had an adjustable rate mortgage that was possibly unrelated to the home renovation. Those were a big contributor to the 2008 housing collapse in the U.S.
Echoing what others have said, but unless you’re a Ph.D candidate in an expanding/lucrative field (e.g. anything STEM-related, especially engineering or computer science, and probably business, too) there are too many applicants vying for a small number of jobs. They probably thought this would be a way to…
CNN reports that Vitolo-Haddad had actually accepted a tenure-track professor position at California State University, Fresno starting in fall 2021.
Yeah I don’t get the snark about this. Obama’s memoir sounds interesting and I might just pick it up when Trump and the pandemic are in the rearview mirror and I can stomach quasi-political reading again.
I think 1999 turned out the best of the dream seasons. It was the only one of the three to put the original cast back in something resembling their original roles (albeit on a spaceship instead of a spy agency) and the new writers injected some fresh energy into the show.
ANTON!!!
Every time...every time I see a headline about this story, I briefly panic that one of my favorite feel-good shows is going to be ruined by something more serious than Kristey Alley and John Ratzenberger’s dumb opinions.
“XANADU *ma’am I checked with the kitchen and there’s no cream in the soup, just like you wanted* XANADU”
