Xi Jinping seems like a very tiggered snowflake.

I don’t catch LWT much beyond what goes on YouTube, but don’t his stunts usually sum up to “spending a couple of thousand dollars on a website”? That seems pretty minimal.
Nicholas Meyer is the answer, I suspect.
Oh, absolutely. I’d even be OK with Michael Cera as the main character as long as Shawkat was the co-lead. Jessica Walter can obviously stick around as long as she wants, too.
My understanding was that the Khan series would cover his exile on Ceti Alpha V, but that was only a rumor.
I’d also be fine if they soft-rebooted the show with Alia Shawkat as the star. Maeby has enough intelligence and self-awareness to take over the protagonist role from Michael.
IMO, TLJ was fine as it was. TFA’s cliffhanger is what caused a lot of this controversy. Cliffhangers are fun in theory, but it becomes virtually impossible to conclude them in a way that is both narratively satisfying and pleasing to the fans.
The President of the Untied States should be better than this.
A separate Deadline story uses some old quotes from Kurtzman and the Discoverycast to theorize that we might be getting a prequel story of some sort about Michelle Yeoh’s Captain Georgiou and/or Jason Isaacs’ Captain Lorca.
I mentioned in another comment - a contentious primary is fine, as long as it’s shorter and issue-focused. We learned in 2016 that even if the candidates do a good job of being publicly courteous to each other, their supporters aren’t necessarily going to do the same, and the conservatives will use that to their…
This move doesn’t preclude vigorous policy debate, it prevents the primary from being as much of a slog through the mud as 2016 was. Even if a moderate Democrat wins the general, they would re-staff critical departments and stop separating families at the border. I’ll take what I can get and save the bigger fights…
Trump, Fox News, conservative talk radio, and the modern Republican party are fucking bloodhounds. The House Majority Leader is trying to derail the Mueller investigation using a couple of text messages from FBI agents as pretext. They spent 8 years eviscerating Obama and Hillary Clinton over the most minor of issues.…
Why, exactly, do we need a bill to ensure we have troops in South Korea at all times, even as the two Koreas seem closer to reconciliation than ever before?
If they’re halfway into production, it makes sense to put someone in charge who has the relevant experience and already works on the series. Let’s see what happens if the show is renewed for season 3.
They didn’t ditch the show. They were abusive to the writers and the show was over-budget, according to THR.
Hey, at least I didn’t also say that Col. Blake’s plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan!
I’ve been thinking the same thing. Not only is Tambor’s behavior totally inexcusable, but George Sr. became unnecessary to the show after the season 3 finale (when they revealed that Lucille was actually the mastermind behind all his schemes).
What Dayraven said. In context of the scene, Michael turned a nice comment about the house into a creepy reminiscence about his dead wife in front of a kid, but quotes on AD frequently have two meanings.
It’s not followed up on in this batch of episodes, but it really seems like they’re foreshadowing a reveal that Tracey Bluth didn’t actually die (or didn’t die in the way we were lead to believe).
It’s not the maca. Your body wants the maca. It’s not the maca.
